The Reception children have been listening to the Story, ‘Giraffe’s Can’t Dance’ this week.
They have been drawing and labelling Gerald the Giraffe pictures.
They have been writing speech bubbles as if they were Gerald and how he might be feeling.
The concentration, the perseverance and the hard work is amazing!!
They have been thinking about times that they have found things difficult and how they persevered to get better at whatever they set out to do.
The children have really got into their maths this week going on hunts for pairs.
The children were set a challenge to create some jungle music with either instruments they have at home or by making instruments to create their music.
There was a lot of fun music-making happening!
The videos of the children playing their music has been brilliant!!
Then, of course, continuing the phonics learning at home has been excellent along with handwriting practise.
You are all doing amazingly, keep up the super effort and watch this space to see if your work gets displayed in next week’s blog.
