The children have had a really brilliant night. They were all settled and cosied up after the camp fire last night and after a bit of chatter and laughter they all got a good night’s sleep.
They were quite early to rise this morning (we feel quite sure this won’t last) and were all eager to get to breakfast. The sun was already out and we can’t believe how lucky we have been with the weather, it’s been perfect.
There was was time for some styling before breakfast and even Mr Maguire got in on the action!
Breakfast was tasty with a good range of cooked options, cereals toast and fruit. The children all ate sensibly and were very excited to head off to their first activity.
Highlights from this morning include children conquering the abseiling and climbing towers, while others tackled street surf and aeroball.
All the children have really impressed us by giving things a good go. They have been supporting each other and we are very proud of each and every one of them.
The teachers are also doing a good job of supporting each other as well!
We are enjoying celebrating some birthdays on site today and one boy is going to have a really special surprise when he returns to his room!
Plenty more adventures to come later and we will try and send another update this evening.
The staff would like to say a special thank you to all the parents that sent treats for us, we think we have enough to keep us going!
