We were, understandably, all very sad we couldn’t go to school dressed in our Stone, Iron or Bronze Age outfits for the start of our topic ‘Early Man’. It was great to see some of you show off your outfits and wear them on what would have been our hook day at the beginning of term. Here are some of the children ready to embrace this topic from the comfort of their own homes.
The teachers have all been impressed with how much English, reading and Maths work is being completed. However, it is great to see that the foundation subjects have not been forgotten by our home learners.
Firstly, it’s been lovely to see lots of wellbeing challenges completed. We all know how important maintaining good wellbeing is, particularly whilst we are in lockdown. The children have been thinking about what they are great at and how they can be kind. They are also thinking about the promises they are making to their families during this tricky time.
Not only is our mental health very important, but so is our physical health. We’ve been pleased to see PE challenges being completed and children getting out in the fresh air. I think we have some children with super dance moves too, as we can see from our live zoom with Jenny the dance teacher…
We knew we had some great artists in year three but, wow, we have been amazed by your cave paintings and shield designs. Take a look at some examples:
Keep up the fantastic work year three!
