World War II – Non-Chronological Reports

In Year 6, we have been learning all about World War II. In English, we have been writing non-chronological reports, with a particular focus on the Blitz.

We started by looking at examples and picking out the features of a non-chronological report. We then thought about the particular topics we were interested in and began researching and making notes that we could use in our own report. We found this fascinating and enjoyed sharing our interesting facts!

Using our notes, we drafted and edited our non-chronological reports in our English books and then wrote them up in our neatest handwriting on tea-stained paper.

Here are some of our fantastic examples! We hope you enjoy looking at them – we are really proud.
