This week, Year 1 have made a fantastic start to their learning from home and sent in some really super work.
The Year 1 teachers have been really impressed with the children’s commitment to completing the daily maths challenges on White Rose this week. A big thank you to all the children who have worked so hard and shown so much enthusiasm towards their learning. Well done, Year 1!
There has also been some great English work sent in about pirates.
First, the children were challenged to produce some non-fiction writing. They were asked to create fact files about the famous pirate from Poole, called Harry Paye. They then had a go at drawing what they thought Harry Paye might have looked like.
Later on in the week, they had a go at designing and creating their own treasure maps. The teachers were very impressed with the careful presentation and with how imaginative the children’s ideas were.
Well done Year 1, thank you for working hard. We are looking forward to seeing more great work from you next week!
