Year 2 discover that bees are blooming marvellous

 

Year 2 were very busy bees last week, finding out about why these stripy insects are so important and how we can help to protect them.

Kian and Bethany found out that bees help our fruit and vegetables to grow by pollinating the flowers.

 

 

Riley and William found out that some of the problems bees face are pesticides, climate change, pollution and disease.

 

Scarlett researched ways to help the bees.  Did you know you they like longer grass?  Sam even made his own bee house!

 

 

Izabella and Oliver discovered how bees make honey and lots of other interesting facts.
