This week in Year 3 we have reintroduced the children to traditional tales. A traditional tale is a story that has been told and re-told for many years, and consequently, becomes a story that almost everyone knows. Traditional tales are also referred to as fairy stories or fairy tales.
We looked at a range of stories we knew and lots that we did not!
Miss Zadeh read the children some books including Pinocchio, the Frog Prince and the Three Little Pigs.
Then the children chose books that they wanted to read with a partner.
The children will use all the books they read to write their own traditonal tales next week.
