In Year 5 this term, we have been learning all about space.
Throughout this topic, we have covered how the Earth and Moon move, how we get day and night and the phases of the Moon. All of us have been really eager for our next Science lessons and we have even started to write our own news paper report based on our school houses.
One of our favourite things this term is the incredible home learning we have been able to create. Our imaginations have run wild with all the different ways we have chosen to represent the solar system (including using foam, Christmas baubles and ping pong balls!). Some of us even got electrical, using an old lamp and umbrella to create a 3D solar system with its very own sun!
It’s been an incredible topic and we’d like to thank all the adults who have helped us to make such brilliant home learning projects!
