Pre-School

Latest Updates

General information

This half term our topic is Transport. During the topic the children will be able to see, up close, a range of different transport. This will include a police car, a motorbike and a fire engine! We will also introduce Squiggle Time. This is designed to develop the children’s gross and fine motor skills using a range of fun and messy activities. We will also begin our weekly visits to the main school library and the reading bus. It is going to be a very busy and exciting half term.

If you are looking to apply for your child to start across next academic year we have very few places left so please contact the school for more information. Due to the end of term and the volume of applications, if you apply for a place after Friday 6th July your application will not be processed until mid September and your child will be unable to start in Pre-School until late September.

Children can start with us in Pre-School when they turn 3 years old with their funding starting the term after they turn 3. You will be eligible for either 15 or 30 hours of free childcare depending on your eligibility. You can check your eligibility here: https://www.childcarechoices.gov.uk/.
