Year 4 – Turtles

Latest Updates

This Weeks Learning

This week, year 4 will be undertaking their summer quizzes. They are all excited to show off just how much they have learnt! We will also be continuing our topic on continents and comparing our school to schools in different countries.

General Information

Welcome to Year 4!  Our teaching team this year is Mrs Cutler, Miss Murgatroyd, Miss Reade and Mrs Watson. Our teaching assistants are Mrs Stone, Mrs Phillips and Miss Fish.  We are all looking forward to an exciting year together.

In Year 4, children are still expected to read every school day and practise their spellings and times tables daily. The expectation is that children will know all of their times tables by the end of Year 4. We appreciate your support with this.

We are excited to begin swimming again every Friday and our indoor PE sessions will be on Tuesdays. It’s useful for children to have their PE kits in school every day and take them home at the end of each half term.

If you have any concerns, please do speak to your child’s class teacher or any of our team. We look forward to our year together.
