One day in Pre-School we all took on the role of pirates!
One of the children drew a treasure map and from there a whole morning of pirate fun began. Mrs Spencer-Frost found some real treasure which was so exciting. There were gems, jewellery and gold coins! Then the children had to find an ‘X’ which was hidden in the garden!
The children made their own maps to help them find the treasure.
The children then made their own pirate hats. One child even began to walk with a limp!
It was such an exciting morning with lots of imaginative play, fantastic language and collaboration. I wonder what we will be tomorrow?
