What a fantastic week 2 we have had. The children at home have been working really hard all week!
We had some super retelling of the Whatever Next! story where Baby Bear goes to the moon,
this involved wearing space boots, a space helmet and…
taking a delicious picnic to the moon!
The children were then set the challenge to write a list of what they would take to the moon and continued to practise their writing by labelling a picture of Baby Bear off to the moon.
They then had to remember the order of the story by putting pictures into the correct order.
There has been lots of phonics practise using letters to create words for the digraph of the day, matching words to the correct pictures and writing the words correctly.
The concentration levels have been amazing!!
We have seen perseverence to complete tasks and children even challenging themselves to achieve more!
Here are some of the Maths activities that have been sent in.
sorting of numbers
and continued concentration levels. An amazing effort!
Not forgetting the phenomenal crafts that are being made, look at this amazing rocket
and these fabulous Puppets of The Owl and Baby Bear.
Such outstanding artistic skills.
Not forgetting our well being, to practise something you find tricky! The achievements are incredible!!
What a week! We are so proud of everyone’s efforts at home. Keep up the hard work and look out on the website as your work may well appear on next weeks blog.
Have a wonderful week of home learning, everyone!
